Responsibilities

Responsible for the over-all management of the IT-related components, resources and deliverables associated with a GSM project--designs and develops a reasonable project plan in accordance to the timelines communicated by the project owners/ sponsors to the management; works according to IT-GSM’s approved Project Management methodology and standards and is expected to function harmoniously with the IT-GSM Business Analysts, Developers, plus external teams to ensure project effectiveness; manages activities and associated schedules as set, ensures that pre-defined project milestones are met and the expected output is delivered; handles and escalates to the proper group major problems encountered during implementation to make sure that the project timelines are not compromised; deals accordingly with the expectations of the Project owners and proponents by providing regular updates on the progress of the implementation, which includes delays and associated causes of such and/or its impact to the initial timelines; in addition, performs vendor management to ensure that the deliverables of business partners are met and delivered to Sun Cellular with good quality and within the prescribed timelines

Requirements

College Graduate; Preferably with Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering degree
Minimum of 8 years experience in Project Management, Systems Analysis, Design and Development, Business Analysis, and Vendor Management
Must have relevant people handling and management experience
