Responsibilities

  • Platform Operation Management of Assigned Service(s):
  • Implement changes and service request according to predefined procedures (e.g. network device/appliance installation and upgrading)
  • Consolidates and endorse network platform(s) CI properties to Configuration Management
  • Database (CMDB) Manager:
  • Create reports such as network platform(s) performance and problem status
  • Execute network platform(s) security (create and maintain users roles and privileges)
  • Assess and monitor network platform(s) performance
  • Perform network platform(s) patching,tuning and hardening
  • Forecast network platform(s) growth for Capacity management
  • Platform Production Management of Assigned Service(s):
  • Prepare level 2 Support Troubleshooting Manual
  • Plan, review and update Method of Procedures (MOP)
  • Prepare, analyze and update Service Checklist
  • Set-up and update preventive maintenance checklist
  • Rate new network platform(s) compliance via Standard Platform Management Operation Requirements (SPMOR)
  • Level 3 Support of Assigned Service(s):
  • 24x7 On-call Incident Analyst for escalated incidents
  • Perform troubleshooting for incidents with severity 1 and 2
  • Provide regular updates according to agreed,time and motion,incident Turn Around Time (TAT)
  • Correspond to next level support engineer for unfamiliar incidents
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recorded Problems and Incidents
  • Platform Design Solution of Assigned Service(s):
  • Evaluate new network platform solutions (products and features)
  • Setup development environment for network platform type approvals
  • Act as consultant relevant to existing network platform solutions
  • Conduct failure point analysis for cross network platform


Requirements
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years
  • Specialization: IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin
  • Job Role: Network/System Engineer
  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's/College Degree
  • Field of Study: Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication)
  • Mandatory Skills/Attributes: Solid knowledge in network administration that include network installation, monitoring & recovery
  • Optional Skills/Attributes: Knowledge in IT governance framework similar to ITIL, COBIT and FCAPS
  • Certifications Required: Cisco Certified Network Associate
