Responsibilities

The Area Sales and Distribution Executive will be in-charge of further expanding our market reach to include the emerging OFW locations in the Middle East.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Study/survey target market to identify market needs vis-à-vis products/services offered.
  • Develop/design marketing program in accordance with the specific needs/requirements of the target market, emphasizing on the strength of MyRemit's products and services such as higher exchange rate, speedier delivery, and more diversified payment system aginst competitors.
  • Recommend to Manila office any marketing activities to be performed and logistical support needed to implement marketing program.
  • Coordinate marketing activities/program with remittance tie-ups to ensure smooth implementation and keep track of results.
  • Maintain cordial relationship with tie-ups and avoid any conflict or irritations that may prejudice the relationship.
  • Maintain and ensure cordial relationship and continuous communication with tie-ups key personnel as well as with their frontline personnel to ensure transactions intended for MyRemit are sent accordingly (not to competitors which also have remittance arrangement with the tie-up)
  • Provide immediate assistance to tie-ups particularly on complaints, inquiries and related matters requiring special attention of Manila office for remittance transactions sent to MyRemit.
  • Monitor and track complaints, inquiries and other matters related to remittance transactions
  • As much as possible, ensure visibility in group gatherings of OFWs in the area to promote MyRemit's products and services.
  • Distribute leaflets or any promotional materials to create awareness on MyRemit's products and services.
  • Maintain open line communication with all remitters/customers to ensure prompt action to any matters related to their transactions with MyRemit.
  • Survey daily competitors’ exchange rates and advise Manila office for possible rate adjustment/upgrading to maintain our edge against competitors.
  • Advise Manila of any competitors marketing promotions/programs (e.g. reduction in fees, give-aways, raffles, etc.) so as to allow Manila office to initiate measures to counteract and maintain our edge in the competition.
  • Monitor/track remittance transactions generated monthly per tie-up as a way of gauging performance.
  • Coordinate immediately with TFC (if available in the area) any advertising/promotional needs of tie-ups. Request Manila office assistance on this matter, if necessary.
  • Collate, prepare and submit to Manila office a daily list of inquiries, complaints and other related matters for immediate action/resolution.
  • Monitor/track and maintain a daily record of unresponded items or those with pending delivery status so as to have ready reply when asked
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • Required skill(s): MS Office Applications. Proficient with Windows based programs.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
  • Banking Remittance experience is a plus
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, or Taiwan
