Big Dipper is a subsidiary of ABS-CBN Corp in-charge of operating and maintaining the company's Media Asset Management system which includes:

  • Converting Analog Video Materials to Digital Format
  • Video Quality Checking of Ingested Video
  • Cataloging of Ingested Materials
  • Providing Transcription/Translation/ Synopsis Writing
  • Processing of Multi-Format Dubbing

     

    Responsibilities

  • In-charge of the metadata development and creation of episode and segment synopses
  • Submits weekly report to immediate head

    Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Journalism, Mass
    Communications, Literature or the equivalent.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer operations
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Keen with details
  • Flexible and can work with minimum supervision
  • With excellent command of the English language with correct grammar
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules and long hours
  • Open to PROJECT Employment

  • At least 6 months related to job experience preferred
